Meet the mentor: Sharan Bal, Founder & CEO of VAN SHA Spirits A seasoned spirits marketeer & non-drinker turned founder of VAN SHA Spirits. Sharan is on a mission to normalise not drinking, elevate the way we drink by offering innovative and inclusive drink experiences. She launched VAN SHA Aromatic Spice - a unique non-alcoholic spirit distilled with exquisite spices from India inspired by the centuries-old principles of Ayurveda. VAN SHA reflects Sharan's family roots, Indian heritage as well as her industry experience and passion for hospitality. Her brand is part of one of the most exciting categories in the drinks industry (no&low alcohol surpassed $13 bn in global sales in 2023). VAN SHA was launched in The Netherlands and has since validated its product-market fit and grown into 150 retail stores.
