Machine learning: A walk in the park?

Nowadays, machine learning algorithms are ingrained in the decision process of nearly every business. As a bank, it’s key that we understand our clients and their behaviour. Therefore, we have sophisticated models in place, for instance for risk management and pricing. Can we completely get rid of our classical models and turn to machine learning? We provide a case study for mortgages in this ABN AMRO workshop.
