Humans against robots: How to win the battle
In order to stay relevant and add value, we all need to become innovators. People will have to do what computers cannot. To be creative, embrace ambiguity, and empathise. These qualities require high levels of imagination. The problem is our current work environments kill imagination. How do we facilitate creativity when we know this does not happen in a 9-5 productivity mode. These moments happen in the hallway, under the shower and during specific moments in time where we let our lateral mind get to work and make unexpected connections. We will discuss three tactics on how to nourish imagination, even in large organisations: - Psychological safety in groups - Accepting ambiguity - Communication and close collaboration
