What the fuck am I doing with my life?
If the fields of data, design, and digital are interesting to you, then you've picked an exciting field to be in. But it can feel overwhelming because there's a million directions you could go in and worse off there's a million people marauding as experts who will try to convince you that they know the answer (e.g. one day it's all about Agile and the next it's about Growth Hacking). Even though I have been in these fields for almost two decades, I still feel like I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. But there's always one thing I do know, I always know what human question I am answering -- a human question is an inquiry into the human experience. It originates from a genuine place of curiosity into how xyz impacts human life. My human question helps me figure what decisions to make, where I want to be, and the best strategy to get to where I want to go. And most importantly, knowing my human question helps ground me in doing real shit, not the trendiest flavor of our industries. In this talent session, I will share my framework for how I constantly iterate on my human question and strategy to make life decisions around my career and then YOU will fill out this framework for your life. Prepare to self-reflect on what the fuck you're doing, action plan, and share. A bit of vulnerability will go a long way.
