Men must be accountable for more women in tech
I have participated at so many events about gender diversity in the tech space, mostly panels of woman hosted by woman, but I have struggled to see real action plans and commitments made by anyone else in the industry. I then go back to everyday work life and get confronted with bias in many things I do, from engaging with journalist that have interviewed me as CEO and called me a βheβ, or recruiters that send non diverse candidates for interview, or VCs that have non diverse pipelines for investment. The change needs to happen by us all committing from the bottom. How it should happen is what I would like to debate during this session.
